Thomas Mason Seasonal Selection: Spring Summer 2019
The new Seasonal Selection for Spring/Summer 2019 aims to be a colorful collection that reinterprets the English tradition, yet in a cool and contemporary way. Fresh colors, bold stripes and floral prints alternate each other in a high quality fabric proposal, designed to please those who seek originality and style, without sacrificing comfort and performance. A unique selection, starting from the choice of raw materials until the designs themselves, all in line with the current trends and responding to the sartorial needs of the future.
The breathtaking island of the Balearics, with their sun-drenched beaches bathing in crystal clear waters, the green of the pinewoods and the rocky bays, the warm and enveloping sunsets that leave you breathless: these eclectic and carefree islands have inspired the colors and the spirit of this new Seasonal Selection.

INTERVIEW WITH THE DESIGNER
Which are the main trends of the season?
More and more elegance is influenced by the pursuit of comfort: fabrics become more naturally and are often characterized by soft textures, such as the Alysson jersey fabric. The undisputed protagonist of the summer season certainly remains linen, a fresh and natural fabric available also in a cotton mélange version.
A wide array of multi-colored stripes, in perfect harmony with the typical Thomas Mason style. Fresh and vibrant colors are enhanced through surprising and incisive combinations creating different types of stripes, preserving a perfect balance between eccentricity and elegance.
This season we wanted to give space to Journey, our innovative, wrinkle-resistant fabric that has been designed for business shirts that remain prefect from morning till evening. For the first time we even present this quality in small refined prints.
Prints are an increasingly essential element in the male wardrobe. This season we’ve taken inspiration from our intriguing flora and are presenting fresh floral designs but also more sober prints in refined tones.
